I can sense that I’m entering a new era on my fashion journey - I get really excited and also super humble about finding and then wearing vintage pieces - not just 2nd hand or preloved clothes that are maybe anything between 0 to 4-5 years old - but truly vintage ones.

Something that Tiia from Sunday Style Thoughts recently wrote about. In her ode to a very, very old long black double-breasted men’s winter overcoat she tries to capture that special feeling that a vintage garment can evoke. As to the vintage pieces in my own closet - I only have a few. Three to be very specific. The oldest one of them is this beautiful, classic and absolutely timeless short blazer from Yves Saint Laurent.
