I feel the busy-ness at work is beginning to reach new heights. Not in a bad way, though. At least not yet. A lot of corporate processes and procedures. And hundreds of stakeholders.
Some research shows that as humans we only really have capacity for 150 individuals in our mind. The number may be much lower for me. Well, I guess these are some of the ‘perks’ of working in a big, global and therefore also hybrid organisation.
Do you also struggle when dealing with too many people in a short period of time?
There’s a lot of psychology that goes into almost every interaction. Stakeholder management is the term I believe. As an extrovert I admit that I do get energized by many different activities and human interactions. But there is a limit to it. Even I can feel exhausted from the sole fact of having met/spoken/exchanged emails/chatted over Teams with too many people.
