Do you have a pair of shoes that you can rely on 100%? Shoes that you can dance the night away in or walk in up and down the streets of a big city?

I have a pair of the most comfortable and yet still beautiful and once super trendy boots that I can walk in for hours. And it’s not something that I say lightly. At the age of 47 I’ve been in perimenopause since I turned 42.

What does it have to do with shoes! Plenty!! So I should learn when new symptoms started popping up like mushrooms after rain.

Now, this is not an article about all those symptoms, but if you’re curious I’ll be happy to answer your questions in the comment section. I just want to mention 2 of them …out of many. There! I said it!

The very first symptom was sudden sleep problems. I would fall asleep easily only to wake up in the middle of the night - typically between midnight and 2am - and get more and more depressed and paranoic. Night after night …after night. I even ended up in therapy as my brain was not showing up …
