What I Packed — and Wore — for a Spring Weekend Away in Denmark

A slow, sunny escape to the summerhouse with just the clothes I actually live in

Last weekend, we packed our bags, loaded up the car and headed 1.5 hours away from Copenhagen to my parents-in-law’s summerhouse for a relaxing spring getaway. Nestled between a quiet forest and the sea, it’s the kind of place where time slows down.

The weather was just right—between 16 and 20°C—perfect for being outside during the day and cozying up inside in the evening. Enough to need a layer. Maybe two. A familiar kind of Nordic in-between weather — not quite summer, but definitely not winter anymore. That feeling where your skin remembers warmth again.
