Haven’t we all heard about high street fashion brands stealing from high end designers? Stealing design ideas, colours, styles?
Well, they’re not!
It’s the factories dictating what the next season’s trendy colours, silhouettes, materials - and YES! - whole designs should be and will be.
Will be?
Yes, because it’s cheaper, better and faster for one brand to follow in the footsteps of what another, especially bigger brand’s choices are AND it’s the factory suggesting and eventually dictating that next season will be all about burgundy color and that the silhouette will boxy, et cetera.
Also, apparently all of this happens long before the designer brands have their shows for the high street brands to be able to allegedly steal what they want from those shows.
This happens months ago and it happens in the factories.
